Challenge Le 1000

Le 1000 in collaboration with the Heart and Stroke Foundation presents the Challenge Le 1000. Climb to make a difference.

Le 1000, one of Montreal’s most prestigious buildings, opens its doors and invites the public to climb its stairs in support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Join us at the time of your choice between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, or Wednesday, November 12, 2014, to hike Le 1000 from its 3rd to 42nd floor. Do it for the sake of keeping fit, to cherish a loved one or to encourage the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s efforts.

Donate through the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s Feats for Heart website to support the climbing teams, the participants and most of all the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Donate to help us reach our fundraising goal of $3,000 for should the Challenge Le 1000’s objective be reached, Le 1000 will provide an additional contribution of $1,000!

To mark the event’s 5th edition, Le 1000 is reaching new heights and is delighted to present an enhanced experience for its participants.

Meet Mr. Vincent Daignault, a cardiac arrest survivor reunited with the security agents who revived him at Le 1000 thanks to their CPR training and the use of an AED. Also, celebrate your accomplishment with supporting evidence as Le 1000 offers you a professionally taken photo featuring your success.
Before making the climb, participants will be invited to take part in a short warm-up exercise led by a certified trainer. In addition, participants will be provided full access to Le 1000’s Fitness Centre’s changing rooms including access to lockers, showers and towels.
Free beverages and snacks will be provided. Door prizes will be drawn amongst all participants.
